 I wish I'd grown up to be a medical researcher.......  Moms are supposed to be able to fix everything.  It's frustrating when you can't, especially when nobody else can either.

But, you probably can fix things in some ways.  My mom could not always solve problems, but could fix things enough for me to be okay.  Can you look at the situation and approach it from a different direction?

Colby is big and has a huge head.  The husband is always telling him he is going to be a great football player.  I always tell him his head is big because it is filled with lots of brains that, when he grows up, will help to cure that cancer that seems to keep taking those who are close to us and close to others we care about.

I will put you on my prayer list.

I wish there was a Reply to ALL button!  Thanks everyone...... the dd's condition is genetic, not contagious, or life threatening, but the meds she has to take to control it can be life threatening, in that they weaken her immune system, making any sore throat or whatever potentially threatening & not easy for her body to fight off.  If she does get sick, the condition she's on medication for flares up & it feels like it's just one unending viscious circle......

@clintspirations - Thank you.  Yes, God is the only one who can.  There is no known cure.

@the_best_stuff - Thanks, it will be... sometimes I just get overwhelmed with feeling helpless to help my baby.

@TexasBorn_TexasBred - Great suggestion, but I don't think there is any way to put a positive spin on this. As for Colby... don't worry about it, all babies heads look too big!  & Yes I'm sure he's overflowing with smarts & brains just like his Mom!  Thanks for the prayers!

@firemanjay988 - Thanks Jason!  I think I'll go take a nap now!

@zanychk - How is your neck, any improvement?  Sending prayers you way. {{{HUGS}}}
