Interfering Xanga gods...

Since getting this new computer I've noticed the little thing on the tab that spins while a page loads....... NEVER Stops spinning on my Personal Xanga page.  Seems to be the Only place it does it, I can go anywhere else even my Public Xanga page, & it stops, it's just my private page that keeps on spinning.    And have the Xanga gods done something to scripting again?  I can't leave hearts & kisses on any of my comments anymore, or put smileys in by using script on sites that don't have a smiley option on their comment section........  I wish they'd STOP blocking scripts, & stop asking me to try out the new home page, or their stupid skins!  1st of all the new home page isn't new anymore, I Don't Like it, I am Not going to use it, so stop directing me there against my will when I sign in, it's annoying!  As for the skins, they're nice enough, & great for anyone who doesn't know how to put in their own decorating scripts, but I prefer to do my own, so just stop with the your still using this old method messages & let me do MY THING in peace!

We picked up a female beta fish yesterday.  We've had several male betas over the years, but this is our 1st female.  The girls generally aren't very colorful or pretty, but this one is.... She's little & cute, & BLUE!

 Blue Girl

I may read up on breeding betas, & maybe pair her with one of our males......

Ka-T 09 037

This is my favorite male... he's mostly red, but has a bit of violet color too.  We used to have an all violet one, & I keep watching for another one, but so far haven't found one........   I've started to notice some yellow, & orange ones out there, but haven't found one I can't resist yet.  I wish you could keep them together in a single aquarium.  It would be really pretty & colorful if you could.

Those FISH PICS are GREAT. And I agree with you TOTALLY about XANGA.....I wish they'd "leave well enough alone", already. Too many CHANGES.

Hey, I tried watching "Harper's Island" earlier and it reminded me of "LOST"(the ISLAND, and everything). In fact, I really FELT "lost" after 5 minutes or so!!! I need to watch those OTHER episodes ONLINE first.

Or, perhaps when this season ends they'll put the entire season on DVD and I'll BUY it. Was this the FIRST season???

@clintspirations - Yes, it's the 1st season, or 1st run...... I think it's a mini series & will end with this one season.  I could be wrong though.  I was a little dissappointed in tonights show... but I was a little distracted, I may just need to watch it again.....

@HalfaCent - Sometimes great series DO end after one season....ever see "Life On Mars"??? THAT was a cool show but it ended after one year. Well, gotta run to church, TTYL.....I really DO want to see "Harper's Island", but I've got to go back to Square One.....

I totally agree with you. I hate it when Xanga keeps redirecting me to their 'new and improved' home page.

Imagine if you came home to see a new front door each day !

These fish are awesome. Lovely colors!!

I totally agree with you about the NEW page offerings. I am worried about the fish. What happens when they are all together? Do they eat each other.  Are they happy in their pretty jars.  Do they feel like they are in a prison cell?  I think about things like this.

Bet HI is a one seasoner.  Good idea about buying DVDs.

@Hiattetcat8 - They are Siamese Fighting fish.  The males will fight with each other if they are in the same aquarium, & can also be aggressive toward the females.  They are found naturally in rice paddies, (fields) & shallow streams.  So it's possible to keep them in small containers, but it's better to keep them in larger containers for water temp. purposes.  The life expectancy is 3-5yrs. most of the ones I've had live to be 5yrs. old, so I guess I keep them happy. :phbbbbt:
